A Midwinter Caterpillar

This week, Year R2 took part in their very first Forest School session. We started off the session talking about all of the things that could be found in nature including conkers, leaves, sticks, nut shells and feathers.

We then set out on a very misty nature hunt looking for as many natural items as we could find. One pupil even managed to find a caterpillar which is unusual for the middle of winter, the chances are that this caterpillar was hibernating.
