Caterpillars and other Creepy Crawlies

The children in 1Q proved to be great explorers in our wildlife area at school. Spiders, ants, woodlice, ladybird larvae and caterpillars were just a few of the minibeasts which were found.

The children learnt how to respect all creatures, handling them carefully before putting them safely back where they were found. Well done 1Q!

In a Forest School session back in the Autumn term, the pupils in 1Q, with the help of the wildlife trust, planted some trees. Today they went to find out how much their trees had grown and were amazed at their progress…
