The Great Outdoors!

This week in Forest School, Year 3H were given a free choice of activities.

Over the year the children have learnt lots of new skills and today they were given the opportunity to decide what activities they would like to do either in pairs, groups or independently.

It was lovely to see how much the children have progressed. Their understanding of health and safety during Forest School is very clear and the skills they have learnt in each Forest School session can now be put into practice independently with very little help from myself.

These skills can not only be used in Forest School, but can be taken with them to encourage them to engage more with the outdoors at home as well.

So many resources, so little time…

Bug Hunting…

Nature Sketching and Reading…

Den Building…

Bows and arrows…
