Harness Skills

This week Year 3H took our high risk activities to the next level. In one of their first Forest School sessions they worked as a team to pull each other up a tree using ropes and harnesses.

This week the children learnt how to attach a harness to each other. I demonstrated and then the children worked in small teams to attach the harness correctly and safely. It required great observation skills, patience, perseverance and team work.

After a few tries every team mastered it. Well done Year 3H!

These videos show how well the children worked as teams to master this skill…

The children also had time to hunt for bugs and create miniature dens…
