Our Viking themed Forest School Day (Year 5HC)

Today, Year 5HC took part in a whole day of Viking themed Forest School activities as part of their Creative Curriculum topic. We created a camp fire and cooked soup, the pupils used charcoal made from burnt wood to write Viking Runes on tree trunks and they learnt how to use fire steels. They put their creative skills to the test and made  viking weapons and settlements.
